Hi I'm Gracie, I'm a Lancashire based Photographer. My work is currently centered around landscapes and architecture although my goal one day is to become a wedding photographer. My photography journey began during high school where I finally felt like I excelled in a subject. I have been studying photography in some capacity for the last 8 years!
Landscape photography has always been a part of my practice. I have a deep rooted love of The Lake District and being outside in nature. My progression to bringing my camera along with me when visiting was natural and has continued ever since.
As someone who lives in the countryside the city has always fascinated me. The big buildings make you feel so small and there's a constant rush and busyness in the air. My first series of images that documents the city is called ‘My Manchester Archive.’ I loved the intricate architecture and the size of the buildings and the effect they have on you when you stand next to them.
There is always something nice about coming home to the quietness of the countryside.
I hope you feel the busyness of the city and the calmness of The Lake District and the love I have for my Grandad whilst looking through my work.
